Our Institute adopts credit system in order to better adapt itself to the requirements of social and economic development, to stipulate students' study enthusiasm and to encourage excellent students to stand out .
Credit system management allows students to design their knowledge structure, opt courses within and beyond our campus (within Songjiang University Town ) and get the corresponding credits and performance points according to their knowledge basis, interests and desires, but they must first accomplish the compulsory courses regulated in the directive teaching/learning plan of their own major. If having adequate time or energy, they may also choose courses across departments,colleges or universities and those who get the required points ahead of time may graduate in advance. Students may also choose and study a main course from other majors on the basis of accomplishing their own and get a certificate for that major if they pass the necessary exams.
